What You Need To Know About Channel Letters
-
What are Channel Letters? Channel Letters are 3D signs made of individual letters that are usually made from metal or plastic. They have three components to them, the face, returned edge, and the trim. The face of the channel letters is the front piece of the letter. The returned edge is the sides of the channel letters that are bent to form around the letters, for a visual of the returned edge go to the Metal Signs page. The trim is the component of channel letters that attaches the acrylic face of the letter to the aluminum channel letter body.
-
Where do they typically go? This type of signage typically goes on the exterior of businesses. But this type of signage can go realistically anywhere in your business. It could go internally and be functional signage, guiding customers to specific areas like checkout zones, restrooms, etc. Making sure that customers have a seamless experience from the time that they are finding your store to the time that they leave is essential. A happy customer is a repeating customer.
-
Why Channel Letters? If your company or business is ready to take the next step this is definitely the way to go. Signage has shown in a FedEx survey that nearly 76% of consumers had entered a store solely based on its signage. Let your signage be something that you can be proud of. Illuminated or not channel letters create a clean and sleek look that will attract attention during the daytime or the nighttime.
